The Pro Car seats even have a pattern similar to stock. I'm getting them with my taxes.

I spent a day disassembling everything and a few hours cleaning and painting the arms. Then took them to the shop and had the bushings pressed in. Once they were all assembled I spent probably 5 hrs. with a couple floor jacks, a prybar, and a lot of cussing to get the arms back on. Most of that was fighting the lower arms and springs.
I'll never do it again by myself. In fact at the price I was quoted to have it done, I'm not sure I'll ever do it again at all!

whats the difference between second gen fenders? are 70 thru 77 the same? I know 79 and up are different. heres why I ask our camaro was missing the head light gear when we got it but it looks like the front fenders have a lip that goes most of the way around the headlight area for early 2nd gen head lights like 70 to 73 style front end is this right? or am I halfway thru and early front end conversion? iquiring minds would like to know!
heres a couple a pics to help clear up my question
heres the rounded part on the fender

they dont match they are behind the bumper which is large enough to hide a house I just dont think they would have made things not line up like that.

heres another pic of the fender

sooo it looks like we have the earlyer fenders the cuz the lower valnce doesnt line up with the fenders and the upper valence was too far out from the radsupport to bolt up. now to to decide wether to get earlyer valences or the right fenders for this car....

Afraid I'll have to disagree with you Damon. All the parts suppliers I've looked at list the 70-77 front fenders as the same part number. Here's one from Rick's Camaros:
Camaro Fender, Left, Front, 1970-1977 - Rick's Camaro Parts

If you're trying to use the later radiator support, then that could be an issue. The core support needs to be a 70-73 style to work.
http://www.rickscamaros.com/camaro-r...1970-1973.html

The upper header and lower valance should match up if they are 70-73 and the fenders are 70-77. Might be some slight differences in hole alignment, just because the parts are from different makers. I replaced my whole front end with new sheetmetal and hood after the wreck, and even ordering all the parts from the same maker, and correct year, I still had to ream the holes out to get things to align and mate up.
