New to the site. Just thought id drop by and tell you how motivating your post is! It was the first one to catch my eye and I sat and read through the entire thread! I recently bought a 73 z/28 from my best friend. He bought it in Texas back in '05 when he was stationed there with the Army. Unfortunately, he didnt do much work to it and Ive inherited an out of control rust problem!!! I'm a novice mechanic at best and was feeling daunted by the upcoming work, but reading your post has inspired me to move forward with the project! Keep up the good work!

It's been a while since I've done any work on the car, I just ordered some parts on ebay so I'll be getting back to it since summer activities are coming to an end here soon. It also does not help that I bought a 01 tahoe which I've been putting a lot of time and money into. I've wanted a tahoe for a while now.

LOL My mom sold one just like that last month. Didn't have the new Tahoe wheels though. I had to paint her front bumper because the dealership tried to knock 2g off here trade in, because of a tiny patch of rust.
