ok guys tell me what u think,my raditor core support and inner fenders are in pretty bad shape.
but im gonna try to fix them,if i cant then i will do 70-73 front clip,as it is i need both fenders, radiator support, inner fenders so i might as well just convert it over to 71z28 front end.

ok thx val or would it look better if i just put 71 z28 front clip on.not much diffrence seeing i gotta buy everything to fix it anyway.i find lots of parts for the 70-77 but not the 78-81 in craigslist, also want to put 70 dash pad in my car and i really like the 70 center consule, just like the one i had in my 70 chevelle, love the horse shoe shifter

I guess that' a personal choice. I am biased and love the early 2nd gens, but it's your car, so you need to decide if you want a early front on a later car.

there my favorite camaros of all,70-73 are a beauty in the making, nicest cars gm ever made, would love to have the 70 front clip on my car,and also interior.yours is the one that influnced me to try this,ur camaro is one beatiful machine.love it.

i thought of doing that (front end conversion) but i just couldnt, i need the whole package lol, i love both styles and it just wont look right to me, but to each his own? 70-73 are also my fav. but i would want to at least change the tail panel also, rear window is not that big of deal but if you know about camaro's it will look odd. to bad you were not closer to me i would hook you up with parts. I say keep it as it is, rad support and fenders are easy sure but then you will need lights, bezels, harness, bumper header panel, grille etc. etc. just work on something else on the car till you find the parts you need. can't really see the pics to well maybe those parts are saveable? keep up the good work

I agree Joe. The full rear window wont jump out at you, and most wont notice it at first, but the later tailights will give it away fast, and if I did the change up front I'd do the tail panel too.

i have also decided to keep the 80 front end, mostly finances, but if i ever did do it i would surely do the rearend too,i can spend money in other places that need it most like my new 4 link for the rear when i get that far,i might be doing this backwards but im going from front to the rear, the front is where most of the body work is needed

I don't work front to rear or anything like that. I do what I feel like doing that day. It kind of slows me down because I wind up hitting a wall and not being able to finish. Then I get a few of the small projects built up and then I usually come up with what I need to finish one of them. Like the undercoating I mentioned, I started on that back in June I'd guess. But I hate messing with it so I do a little then do something fun like weld the frame or firewall.
