If you have a concrete driveway you can spray early in the morning and avoid some contaminants and bugs. Spray the area down well with water hose, then roll the car on the wet surface and shoot the paint. After it's done roll it back in the garage to dry. If you have a rollup door be sure not to roll it down and cause junk to fall on the wet paint!

yeah bro i know what u mean i have had insomnia really bad lately never got to sleep until 8am this morning,i think mostly from being so upset about that paint job,so i never got up until1pm,i did go out and wet sand my entire shell today with 800 grit and smoothed out the runs,i just might try to paint it outside like u said,im gonna give it one more shot, probably should have just went with the hugger orange like originally planned would have been much easier to spray than this metallic paint, sure wish i could have rented the booth i always use,lot more dificult in the garage, hahahaha.

Looks more even, but doesn't seem to have a lot of gloss to it. I'd have expected single stage to be much higher gloss.

i might even give it one last coat in the morning depending on how it looks once its dry,i have an 18 hour recoat window.maybe if i give it a good wet coat it will help with the gloss.it states on the can that clearcoating is highly recomended so maybe thats what i better do.

I would be careful of a heavy wet coat. The heavy metallic will run in a heartbeat. Plus it could tiger stripe on you.
