Skinny drag tires are about half that width! Those look like stock Gen 3 tires and wheels.
Wanta see skinny, look at the tires on my Austin. 3.5"x15" wheels, with 165x15 tires.

yeah now thats skinny, yeah i will have to check the size on the tires but 3rd gens had 225 up front and 245 in the rear.my irocz i put 245 up front and 295 or 305 in the rear cant remember wich ones i went with in the back but on launch they would rub my wheel wells also did on big bumps.stuck out about an inch past the wheel well them are the rims and tires that will go on my new one.

im gonna do everything i can to get my engine to fit under the z28 hood want it to look original as i can.maybe a 3 inch filter with drop base and take out the 1 inch spacer that should do it.

I had 3.5's on the Nova. Easy to turn while pushing. There is no resistance, a good tug and they would turn right and left no problem. They would push through he burn out box though. Fronts would be locked but the car would slide forward anyhow.

Yes, sticky tires will push the fronts easily. Especially with a car that's light! If I hit it hard it wont push as much, but try to roll into the throttle with the line lock on, and it pushes.
