Probably fit about the same. I wouldn't put a pin on hood for street use. You always need a 2nd person in order to get the hood off. Should you ever need to get it off fast you might not find a helper in time! Just checking oil level will require a helper to get it off and on. Plus where do you put it when it's off?

All the reasons Vall pointed out are the same reasons I wouldn't. I can grab one and pull it off by myself but still at the gas station when you wanna pop the hood and check the oil. Or just show the dork in the Honda your motor. Where do you set it? Lean it against the pole? Sure then a gust of wind comes along and blows your very fragile (pin ons are race weight, 8-12lbs) hood across the parking lot top down. There you go looking like a bigger dork than the kid in the Honda chasing your hood like a kid chasing his homework that just blew away.
LOL It never happened but thats how I see it going down. I did have a gust of wind blow my hood away but that way in my yard.
To answer your question. I have two hoods. One that I'm keeping and one that has a fair bit of rust on the underside. Usable? Maybe if it were blasted. Its a Z hood but I'm keeping the scoop. Come get the rad support and I'll give you the hood. Sound like a deal?
I measured my intake tonight because I'm getting a Stealth Ram in the mail soon. I got 11" give or take 1/2" from the seal between the intake and block to the top of my drop base air cleaner. Thats a Performer RPM, Pro Form 750, 1" spacer, and a 3" air cleaner. I hope those measurements can help you decide somehow.

damon i think i will pass on the hood its never gonna fit under there, but i do want the radiator support but dont have anyway to transport it from ur place to mine i only have a small car.i figured the pin on hood aint such a great idea,i will just have to bite the bullet and get a nice cowl hood scoop or better yet just buy one of them oer cowl hoods i dont want the fiberglass one.the stealth ram should have no problem fitting under there i ran one on this engine when i had it in my irocz, and they have less hood clearance than these cars do.

yeah i will when i get ahold of my sister to use her s-10,what about good fenders got any of them,or inner fenders, yeah i have a 2006 impala but no sunroof, dont really wanna scretch it,should be able to gfet my sisters pick up soon.

I do have a set of inners too. The fenders you can decide for yourself if you want them. I will need the vents out of them. Give me some notice when you want to stop by. I'll clean up the garage and kick the heat on. No reason to stop in and not visit for a bit.

You said you had tuning issues with your Stealth Ram. What were they? What ecu were you running? I have been reading up on them a littler better now that I bought one. It seams some people say the front to cylinders run rich because the colume of air coming in moves right past the front two runners. I seams like that could happen. I ran the Nova at the track with no hood most of the time. The air would blow straight through the air cleaner instead of into the engine. If I cover the front side with a piece of cardboard the car would pick up two tenths. Wierd but it was a fact that I could prove when someone tryed to question the cardboard.

yeah the two front cylinders run rich and the two back ones are always running lean seems all the air goes to the two back cylinders, makes it hard to tune thats all but they do make awesome power and torque once u get it tuned right,i was running mine with the commander 950 ecu, people say they had better luck tunning with the megasquirt,i still have the wiring harness and commander 950 somewhere .yeah of course i will stop and visit awhile when i pick them up would u prefer a weekday or the weekend, how about next weekend if ur not busy.or if i get impatient maybe one day this week,i will let you know ahead of time,so i can visit atleast a few hours and check out ur ride.

well i got some goodies delivered to my house today,my paint kit came now im all set on the painting part i got everthing to match from primer to the clearcoat, even got my gallon of lightweight filler by evercoat, never used that kind before i always used the cheap 3m bondo like the body shops use.heard good things about evercoat so figured why not give it a try.also got my radiator support bushings so im surely gonna need a good radiator support now.
