Your pics are looking better. The upside down VC was weird to look at though.

Looks like they cut the top of an aero scoop and molded it to a cowl hood.

Looks like the cowl section was 6" before they added the scoop on top. It will definitely create a blind spot when driving.

yeah maybe i just be better off with a 4inch cowl and call it good, and its cheaper than that one.i have a while to decide im not gonna do my hood until my front clip is back together,to make sure i have good clearance at my windshield and get it lined up perfect.

I have never been a fan of 6in cowls. The only reason they are around is because some racing classes require a "stock appearing hood" It takes that much to cover a 1200hp fire breather. Other classes have rules like "scoop must be rear facing." Give me a good ol' 2 1/2" cowl and I'm good.

Me too Damon. I like just enough cowl or scoop to do the job. I see some guys running cowls that are gigantic, and when they open the hood everything would fit under a stock hood, so a low cowl would work fine.
Funniest was a guy around my area that had a huge pro stock scooped hood that must have been 12" tall, and when he opened it up he had a stock 454, with cast iron intake. He really had the whole outside looking like a race car with wide tires, wheelie bars, racing buckets, etc. What we call a poser.
