I don't usually drive too fast, but I'm a horrorshow in a parking lot. My GF has finally learned that she needs to hang her head out the window to keep from choking and gagging..BFG's smoke a lot!!

I read about the motor in Hot Rod. Filed it in my "someday" mental bank. have you guys ever heard of Steve Morris Race Engines? He has the the current pump gas record for Procharged BB's. The last I new he was coming up on 1700 HP. On pump gas! I say record loosely because there is probably someone somewhere with one bigger. Anyhow his shop is almost in sight of my house and in sight of my inlaws. I see him from time to time at Martin US 131. I asked about his motors just chit chatting. He sells these beasts for about 40 grand. When I asked what the biggest issue people have when they call asking for help, he says "how do I detune this thing." I still laugh when I think about it. If you heard his Buick Roadmaster wagon running you would understand. It sounds like war.

Fat chance of pulling wheelies with that much hp. Probably go up in smoke, and that's why people want to de-tune them.

But speaking of wheelies! A friend of mine is building a wheelie truck just for that purpose. He bought one of those tiny little snubnose import trucks and set a smallblock Chevy in the bed with a marine drive behind it to run back to the rearend.
It looks like this rig:

If you can imagine a smallblock sitting right over the rear axle, with headers turned upside down and pointing backwards! I think it will be tough to NOT do a wheelie just taking off normally! I'll try to get a pic of it soon, as it's tough to imagine it without seeing it for real!
