I better start driving to Central Oregon to check wrecking yards! Those would be $250 at the yards around here.

Well between cutting hay and my upcoming daughters wedding I found a few days to work on the camaro. Since I am putting in different seats, thought it would be better to install them and get new holes drilled before new carpet went in. I'll remove seats next month when I strip the interior. Seats went in eaiser than I thought. Had to do some cutting on brackets and had to make new rear backets, but all in all they came out pretty good. Drivers seat is electric and I will put in permanet wires while doing the interior.

Great project you got going on. Goodluck with it all. I drive a probe but I don't like the seats very well. They push my shoulders forward too much and makes my old injury I have ache. I have to sit with a pillow behind me.

We will someday probably put the stock seats back in but right now it was cheaper to put the probe seats in. My wife and I are both small so the seats fit us pretty good.

Well the boxes are piling up in the shop. Carpet came yesterday new dash has been here for awhile, lots of other items off ebay have been purchased over the summer, and today I ordered my new exhaust from Summit (Hooker headers and 2.5 exhaust). Hope to get started here shortly.

Looking forward to progress pics! I started my winter project today also! I've been getting really anxious seeing all those boxes from Summit and KMJ Performance piling up!

Since my headers and exhaust system were here I went ahead and put them on. Took most of day friday and good part of today. Made a wrench to help with the ps side back bolt. I had a few moment of frustration but all in all it went well. Fixed two of the problems we had: clunking fom muffler hitting floorboard and exhaust smell in cabin (Old exhaust dumped right under seats.).

Exhaust looks great! Bet it sounds and runs much better too!

Pulled all the seats out cleaned the floorboard up and then got the dash taken ou. Removing the dash was not as hard as I had thought it woud be. I did find some problems after getting it out with the heater/ac plumbing. I'll ask some questions in Gen2 about this. Hope it goes back as easy as it came out.

Well with some help from rydeer and 1971BB427 I got the heater system working today. Thanks guys.
This is the diagram 1971BB427 sent me, although is a little different than mine, it helped me get things working.

Let's see if this helps:
