WalkingChaos - Congratulations on getting your Camaro to drive under its own power. That's a big step!
From this image, it looks like the sway bar is attached next to the traction bars.

Do you mean it's not attached because the bushings are gone, or that the brackets aren't attached?

Ok the long measurement is exactly 56" from the seam in the back to the center edge of the opening in the transmission tunnel for the shifter. From that same point (center edge of the opening) to the pinch weld on the side is 26"

Next up will be replacing front and rear windows, replacing the rotted headers, tune up, and hopfully getting it in primer before winter
