I know it wont go past 300psi (20 BAR) unless something is terribly wrong. I did the conversions for you to make it easier to understand the pressure your dealing with. I too would only run a fan on the cooler unless it was mounted somewhere besides in front of the radiator.

I prefer B+M or Hurst. Both are fine. Actually as long as you stay away from the cheaper B+M/Hurst ones, they're all good. But you will need one that shifts PN321. So there's no chance of even using a cheap one. With the money you've spent so far. I would use this...
Question 1 - Why PN321? Can it be PN123?
Question 2 - Hurst make the same pistol type shifter but with the red button on top. This can be used if I decide to go for nitro 572.
Question 3 - Does this shifter will be installed and still using the original center console of the camaro?
Thanks

Most aftermarket shifters can be used in forward or reverse pattern, but if you have a standard pattern it will be like Damon posted-P-R-N-3-2-1. If you were to choose a reverse manual valve body, then the pattern is P-R-N-1-2-3. It's just a matter of which you like, and whether you want to pull back the lever to upshift, or push forward to upshift.
I don't know of any aftermarket shifters that will fit in your stock console. Almost any can be custom fitted, if you have the ability to fabricate mounts and a base plate, but they aren't a bolt in. I put a B&M in my '71 Camaro, and made a cover plate from aluminum to hide the opening after I removed the stock cover.

Hi, thanks for idea, yours looks great.

Just to clear out something please, when we say manual valve body and reverse manual valve body are we referring to the same thing ie: shifting to what ever gear you like manually? I would prefer pulling back to up shift - then I need P-R-N-1-2-3 correct?

B+M has a direct fit Mega Shifter. Those are fun to play with on the road too. Hurst also has a console mount but its not a pretty.

I have a Turbo Action Cheetah SCS Shifter, I still have to make a trim piece for around the edge of it. 400 trans with reverse patern manual valve body and 2800 stall speed convertor. It also has line lock and trans brake installed. I don't know what gas mileage is, and don't really care, it's a toy just like having a boat, you add fuel everytime you take it out.

I like the B & M shifter. Looks nice as well.

Just asking the same question:- when we say manual valve body and reverse manual valve body are we referring to the same thing? ie: shifting to what ever gear you like manually? I would prefer pulling back to up shift - then I need P-R-N-1-2-3 correct?

Thanks

That's good.

I need to buy engine mounts. Do I need to buy mounts for a Big Block mounts? What type of mounts are available and what brand is good?

Thank you

Hello Guys, Does any one know or used Hydratech Braking system? Perhaps the engine I am planning does not produce enough vacuum, some one recommended Hydratech. This braking system uses the power steering system to drive brake pressure on demand.

Any suggestions please? Thanks

I have basically the same set up but built from scratch. It should be fine.
