I run an Eagle rotating assembly with H beam rods in my 68. Are you looking to build it your self or are you looking for a crate motor?

I have assembled quite a few using Scat kits, and they were very acceptable. Depending on the application and intended use/rpm's an eagle or BETTER rotating assembly might be in order.

Scat = entry level.. good stuff for the street and occasional drag..

Lunati, Speedmaster, Eagle, Scat, Etc, etc.... Northern Auto Parts can set you up with a basic and decent street 383 rotating assembly kit for under 800 dollars...
