painted up the rad support, next thing i do under the hood is repaint the inner fenders, firewall and engine and maybe a performer intake (not sure maybe a weiand).

Lookin good Joe! I mask and spray the main areas under the hood, but I usually do the engine by taking off major pieces and then using a brush and paint the engine by hand. Gets a nice coating, and I can get it much better looking with a can of paint and a brush.

Thanks Val, i never thought of brushing, i bet it would be nice and thick. i was gonna rip the motor right out and paint everything but maybe brush the motor, what type of paint do you use for that, not sure if they sell something like that local, might have to order it?

Well i got some interior parts off and while i was taking the seats all out i was surprised on how good the floors looked back there.

I use Rustoleum high temp paint. It's not rated as high as header paint, but engines don't get as hot. I get it at Home Depot. Mine's black, but I think they had something close to Chevy orange. I just always do mine in black, so they look good longer.

I was thinking of maybe going with blue for the motor this time around? if im not mistaken my year camaros came with blue blocks, maybe just the 350's? not like its going all original or anything but i was thinking of something different than my 80 and blue kinda fits the profile too.
