Hi, have you finished this car ?
I have just opened the restoration can of worms of a 71 Z-28 and know I will be looking for other to ask questions.
Its a complete car even if its spread around some, front clip is off, interior is gutted, sheeesh even when I get typing this it seems overwhelming lol
Any helpful sites or books you might be able to recommend ?

Finally got all the gaps and panels squared away, should be going into the booth in about a week. The new cowl hood was a huge PITA to get to fit properly, same with the repop endura grill surround, very bad lol.
Goth the trunk finished in the aqua splatter paint as well.

We be jammin!
In the booth for final paint so we start with the jambs, first is a grey sealer, this prevents any bleed through from the different layers of primer and filler.
Then two coats of white base, this helps the orange really pop!
Then it's time for the Hugger Orange!
Today we jamb the front clip and on Tuesday it goes back together for the final time!

Wow what a great job, very ambitious project.
Still working on loading pictures (time and know how)
My project will involve changing the cowl, one fender, toe board for the driver and a full back seat floor pan, that just what I see at this point. I have been rolling around on the ground cleaning up the under carnage but realize the only way to do it properly is on a rotisserie, I will be pulling a engine and transmission at some point but my space is somewhat limited.
I am on the west coast of Canada(Vancouver Island) so the sipping costs from the US are crazy and my choices closer by are limited, might you have any tips on features etc of a rotisserie ?

Some people use engine stands welded to a frame and fab up the attachment brackets to the car as a rotisserie. I don't recommend this but have seen it done with no issues.
The car's colour was dark green originally and it's going Hugger Orange.

Well we went ahead and repainted the stripes more like the factory...
And we started installing all the trim and exterior parts,
Inner wheel wells installed and all the brake and fuel lines run and secured,
getting closer now!
