Yes James I did do the flares myself back many years ago. They were sold by Hedman Headers back then, and you could buy a pair, or full set of four. I glassed them in with 6 layers of glass cloth to blend and make them strong.
Had a few people tell me I should remove them before I painted the car, but I like them, and decided to keep them.

The Brown truck delivered the Lakewood ladder bars for the Camaro! Holy crap those things are heavy! Good thing it's unsprung weight, 'cause my vehicle weight just went up another 100 lbs. I think! That should help plant the tires with just the extra weight they carry! ;)
Now if the weather just cooperates so I can get started on the suspension mods.

Vall, you don't like the bars you made? I liked them. The ladders are sweet though. Back when I wanted my car to be strip those were on the list.

I liked the ones I made, but they proved to not be heavy duty enough for the big block's potential. I snapped them one day leaving a friend's house. These should really do the trick I hope!

Breaking parts is a good thing. :)

I like the flares too, seems like a good way to add room without minitubbing the car.

Breaking parts is a little embarassing when you're trying to impress your friends. ;)

I suppose that would be. "Hey guys, watch this!" BOINK! SLAM, BANG! SPUTTER! PHHHHTTT! **crickets**
