Where to mount my Monster tach, any ideas or pics?

Thanks rydeer, I had though about putting the tach there, but while driving I have to take my eyes off the road to see it. Also, I will not be able to put the console back in with the tach mounted there. I am however going to mount my trio of gauges down there.

Mine is so bright that I don't take the yellow cover off it! Without the cover it blinds you when it flashes!

Down low is too far to take my eyes of the road. I once forgot to put my chip in the shift light at the track. The motor when from the usual rohmmmmmm to a wheeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiii, opps 8200 prm They start sounding like an Indy car at that point.
For the Camaro in the dash would be my first opinion second would be on the side of the dash were the gauge cluster ends. Hard to explain. On a 79 the square edge of the dash with the mount at 9 o' clock. If you have a cowl hood you can mount it to the right side and not really interfere with vision any more than the hood.

79, We have a 5 inch A/M tach in our car, used to sit on steering column tilted to the left a little, Son had a difficult time seeing it when staging due to the stock steering wheel. Ordered an extended tach mount from summit, now it sits just left of center on top of dash, a couple of button head screws with nylock nuts and it looks almost like factory.

Do you have a pic of the tach mounted like this?

Only once! Never forgot it after that! Mine's mounted low, and still too bright when it comes on!
