My foot. I have seen MANY with a 295 with the fender lip rolled and a heat and beat on the seat belt hump. I think a 5.75 BS will work. Jason has some meat on his, check his out. Nasty Z28 has a great tire fitment sticky.

thanks for the shout out lol yeah i have 28x12's on mine (and thinking of going bigger ) which are like 295/55's. There Cragar SS wheels with a custom backspacing of 5.25". I beat the seatbelt hump in and did roll the fenders and they clear fine.

I have a spare set of champ 500's with a 5' bs 28x10.5 that may be about 1/4 or so shy of the outer lip.I only put them on,I didn't drive with them. I currently run 15x10 with a 275/50/15 with out any problems,4-3/4" bs.

Not my car. The white one is for sale on Nasty for 5000.

For the OP I think 5.75 bs with a 285 should fit. You can cut a peice of plywood and bolt it to the hub. Then measure the distance from it to the closest point, inside and out. That will translate into the tire size and bs.

A easy, easy way is to call Keith at www.customworksproducts.com He specializes in Camaro suspension and is a wheel dealer.
