What's a good 14" tirs size?
My 78 came with 14 inch rally wheels, the ones that are the same color as the car with the chrome rings and center caps. I can get a set of 78-79 Z28 wheels. I kind of like the looks of the 14 inch wheels and I have a spare.
Right now the car has 195/75-14 wheels and tires. They're tiny. I was thinking a 235/60-14 or 245/60-14 size tire would be good. What 14 inch wheels do you run? How do they handle?
Thanks, NYH1!

if your already going to be buying new tires and wheels i would suggest upgrading the wheel size with a smaller wheel your going to have more tire which will give you more tire roll which will give you a loss in handling i would suggest at least 15 if not 16
14 and 15 inch tires seem to be thing of past.I have old school cragger ss wheels on my camaro.245 15s on back and 215 15s on front.Cant afford new tires and its a ***** to find used tires.235 or 245 would be the way i would go.
i want the crager ss wheels..i saw these nice ones..but there like $120ea..would 245's fit my car without some mods to the susp?
I'm still running the old school 14" rally sport wheels on my '71 Camaro. N50-14" on the back and 245-14" on the front. 7" rallies in front, but I had the centers punched out and 10" outter rims welded on the centers in the rear to accomodate the MT tires.
