Default What's a good 14" tirs size?

My 78 came with 14 inch rally wheels, the ones that are the same color as the car with the chrome rings and center caps. I can get a set of 78-79 Z28 wheels. I kind of like the looks of the 14 inch wheels and I have a spare.

Right now the car has 195/75-14 wheels and tires. They're tiny. I was thinking a 235/60-14 or 245/60-14 size tire would be good. What 14 inch wheels do you run? How do they handle?

Thanks, NYH1!

I just want all four tire to be the same size. No real reason. Do 14 inch tires and wheels handle well? I'm going to put larger sway bars on it down the road.

if your already going to be buying new tires and wheels i would suggest upgrading the wheel size with a smaller wheel your going to have more tire which will give you more tire roll which will give you a loss in handling i would suggest at least 15 if not 16

I'm still running the old school 14" rally sport wheels on my '71 Camaro. N50-14" on the back and 245-14" on the front. 7" rallies in front, but I had the centers punched out and 10" outter rims welded on the centers in the rear to accomodate the MT tires.
Keeps a stock look, without sacrificing traction.
