I know the stock lockers are not to great. They bust pretty easily if you are launching hard etc. Im not sure how the high dollar ones work. Regular posi is great for street and if your racing alot go with a spool/ mini spool.

The standard lockers can get noisy going down the road and when cornering, unless you plan on doing mostly racing. You could go with the electronic (Eaton ELocker) or air (ARB air locker) but they cost alot...screamineagle mentioned spools for racing also which is a good point. When I rebuilt my rear end, I installed an Auburn limited slip posi. Very strong, and no problems. will run around $350-400.
