Hi,
I was wondering if someone could tell which price range Iam looking at if i want the following camaro:
1967-1969 Camaro in Black
Rust Free, since i dont like to weld myself.
Engine has to be in good condition
Interior does not have to be in mint condition
I dont mind having to change brakes or springs etc.
Car is going to be garaged for most of the year
Is it possible to get one for say around 20.000-25.000 us$
Where should i look after one, does anybody have some interesting internet sides?
Regards
/Jonas R.

20-25 will get you a real nice one. if you buy online be very careful. can never have too many pics. watch for the usual trouble spots and if you do find one you are sure you want to buy, hire an appraiser from the area (usually between $75 and $125) to go see the car and evaluate it. money well spent!
there is a certain knowledge needed in buying an old car online. you should really be totally familiar with the type of car befroe you start looking. sometimes just a certain dis-coloration or an unusually clean area is a tell-tale sign something isn't right

Hi,
I live in Europe, and I was considering either going to the states and look for a car or else get someone to buy one for me (i have a contact in the states).
However if I dont buy the car online, where would one look for the car?
Also is it better to buy the car in the summer or winter? I was looking to get one from california.
Regards

counrty classic cars (Google search it) always seems to have Camaros. It's nice b/c you dont have to compete with 1 billion people on e-bay too. I just bought a Ah-Hem.. 67 Fastback Mustang from them.

Jonas,
Try camaros.net. The guys in the tech forum are more than willing to help, if you find a car you are considering , post the trim tag numbers in the "tag team" section and they will decode it. if you take a pic of the tag, they will tell you if it is real or a repro. They also have some really nice cars in the classifieds section.
