You're probably right tho, wont be $4000 but I figured I'd budget for a little extra cause theres always those little things. And you usually end up spending more than you plan lol.

yeah the patriot performance engines are really nice and have a warranty..i was gonna get one but decided to go BB..there really nice and a good price

i think you should get a 383 mise well since you already have a 350 and its not much more expensive you could even stroke your 350

I agree, they look like really nice engines. And at 450-500 HP for less than the price of a GM crate engine. Plus, they use dart blocks which are almost indestructible

I was looking at those engines a while back, didn't know if they were any good or not because they're priced so low.

Looking at the specs of the engines, they're running some pretty good stuff. Dart blocks are bullet proof. Edelbrock intake, MSD distributer, Scat crank, etc. Looks like the only thing it says is actually made by patriot is the heads, and they look like pretty good heads to me.

Lol now I have more choices. I was looking at the GM ZZ4 crate engine, but these are a lot better deal...and a lot more HP.

I might consider getting one of these in the future. Anybody know what kind of gas mileage it might get.
