I have to finish the brake job on my Bro's Audi. I started in the fall and te snow came on so hard the car was buried in snow before I could finish. Then I have a trans half rebuilt that is waiting for love. Then maybe I can pull the motor for the car back out of my truck. July maybe?

 

I painted my 1995 Red camaro with a single stage Black. Wow Color makes a big difference.

 

I hit the local hotrod breakfast. Then came home and did some more tuning on the new engine.


After that I welded up a new donor Hurst shifter arm for my factory ITM shifter in the Falcon to get the handle where it feels right for me. Then I installed the new swap meet gas pedal in my other car, the BBC Falcon.

 

We drove down to Del Mar, CA. (San Diego) Friday night and raced Saturday in the Good-Guys autocross event. The venue is just awesome and after a small rain shower in the early AM, it turned out to be a great weekend. The car ran great with the Hotchkis suspension however the carburator didn't like the hard braking and would sputter coming out of the turns. I'm looking to convert to a MSD Atomic EFI system before the June GG's event.

We also met Jon Barrett, Senior Account Executive with KahnMedia, and he took a lot of pictures of the car. He also brought over the folks from Hotchkis to look at the car and speak with us. Overall a great weekend! Catch a Glimpse of our Camaro at 4:45 min of this video.

The GG events are well run and you will have a blast.

 

I live within reach of of about three. I need to get off my **** and work on the car. I have a picture in my mind and almost refuse to do it any other way. Even could put together a running driving car but not the one I want.
