My wife and I are visiting with the in-laws. I got these shocks and leaf springs for cheap. I'm going to drop the rear end and check everything out while I'm in there.
Air shocks from Monroe. Any one used them before?

Yes, I've used Monroe air shocks for many years. Do yourself a favor and get the dual line kit. It will make leveling the rear easier, and prevent one shock from transferring pressure/lift to the other when cornering. Those are the older Monroes that have more lift than the new ones. The newer Monroes are black and do more to just stiffen, than lift.

Ok,actually got a little bit done today.Got my gauges all mounted in the aluminum bezel, just need to get all the wires connected so i can install it in the car.I also finally took the rear seat to the upholstery shop, and got a nice surprise. The shop i originally went to quoted me what i thought was to high just for 1 seat, they said $350-$400,so i went to some others and they all quoted the same or more,so i figured i'd suck it up and go back to the first shop, because with all giving roughly the same price, the first shop definitely has the best quality work i seen from any of them. When he quoted me that price,he was basing it on pictures of the rear seat and a picture of the front that i want him to match. When i went in today,he looked at everything and said "Oh this will be an easy one" and he is doing it for $250,needless to say i am very happy,he does alot of show car interiors so i know my seat is in very good hands,it will be 2 weeks before i get it back, but it will be well worth the wait. Here's a pic of the new gauges and 1 of the new front seat.

I got off my rear and went out and finished installing my door panels and window trim for the gasser. After that I cut up some metal and welded up the mounts for my wheelie bars. need to get the brackets ground and painted, then pick up a couple U bolts so I can install them on the old Austin gasser.

Thanks.I've wanted to do this setup for several years, but always found other things that needed done first,so they always got put off.I'm at the point with the car now, that most everything else has already been upgraded or modified,so i figured this was the time to give the whole interior a makeover. My dash cap will be here tommorow, after i install it i will finish wiring up the gauges and get the whole thing mounted. Then i get to start figuring out the best way to mount the new front seats while i wait for the back seat to get done. After the interior is done, then all i have left is to start saving for new paint this fall, thought about doing it before the interior, but it will be down for a while for paint, and it's getting close to spring so i dont want to miss out on driving it when it's warm haha.

I finally got my spoiler in the mail from ebay. I'm making my own end caps. Might be able to start my own build thread here soon. I just did not fill right making one as a noob on here.

I see spoilers on craigslist all the time for less than $100.00. Making endcaps seems like a lot of work!

Yeah, saw one last Sat. at the swap meet for $25. I've got another in the garage I paid $75 for. Making ends will not only be lots of work, but also tough to keep solid and not crack out.
