You just have to look in the right forum section! They're in my project.

Got out yesterday and started washing suspension under the Austin. Looks like I may need to touchup some paint, as either I or the painter got overspray on the front axle and ladder bars. (probably me!) I'll try to sand off the primer today, and then start the black paint routine again.

Thanks! He did a really good job, but now everything else looks shabby by comparison! It will take some cleaning, painting, and polishing to get the rest close!

Been working on the exhaust system. I ordered a set of headers and a 2 1/2" exhaust system from Summit and it's been giving me fits. The section after the muffler that goes over the axle and out the back has been hitting when you sit in the car and go down the road. Finally got tired of it and removed the back pipe with my sawzall. The big problem was it had been clamped in so the two pieces were locked in, no pulling out. The good thing was I cut it long and was able to turn the pipe from going up, to going down. With one more cut it looked like it was meant to be there. I still have one more tweek to do in the front, as the right pipe touches the lower part of the hump. I'll need to add a small section to get it to move over slightly. The car sounds awesome with deep rumble, I can hear the car start and run over a 750 yards away, when my son is over at his friends house. He'll never sneak out of the driveway or drive by with out us knowing about it. The next thing on the list will be the cam.

That will look nice! Dont forget the pics when you can.
Today I rebuilt the carb on my camaro. most of the gaskets were shot and fell apart as I was removing them. I think the float level needs readjusting because the boosters drip fuel down inside the intake when its running.

Might be an adjustment, but more likely it's worn out needles and seats on the bowls. The rebuild kit will have new ones, so either way they'll stop leaking once rebuilt and floats set.
