Default wanting to get a 2nd gen camaro pics

was wanting to get a 1980 camaro was wondering if a 86 camaro motor would bolt up to a turbo 350 of this a 80
i got a 86 camaro in the middle of body work turns up its got way to much rust was going to use it for parts for this one and would rims of a 86 go on this car ???

any help would be cool thanks

Yes the 86 motor and wheels will bolt right on. But I like the wheels you've got on there now better!

Yeah, guess I'm just an old dinosaur! Had those same wheels on my Camaro when I bought it back in 1973!

Hey with age comes wisdom! Plus your camaro is awesome I love your tach locations what engine do you have in that puppy?

thanks guys im going to go look at the car on feb 23 tmw so if its good im going to get it fixerup and driver in the summer and ill keep the factory rims just need a good set to drive on till i get new tires for um and and if you dont mind me asking what are some things i should be looking for ive been a third gen man but always wanted a 2nd gen and dont know what makes them tick

check the rear frame rails, make sure the leaf springs arent rotting through. floor pans, fenders and 1/4's are pretty easy to fix and get parts for.

thanks and also i got headers on this third gen whould they perhaps fit in this 80?

I doubt the headers will fit,but i could be wrong.Like mentioned above,even if you dont look at anything else on the car,make the rear frame rails top priority to look at.They can be replaced,but they are hard to find,when you do find them thier expensive,and it is alot of work and welding to replace them.

.040" over 427 BBC. The tach is actually inside. Volts, oil, temp, vacuum, in the pods outside.
