Hello everyone, I am currently in the process of figuring out the VIN numbers for my 1972 Camaro. I was told and have found some research that the fifth digit will tell you the model of your Camaro. I have found that the letter "k" will tell you it is a 350 and possibly an SS.
I was just wondering if anyone else knew more information about this as I am thinking my Camaro is an SS but was ordered from factory with no badges or someone has just taken all the badges off. Please reply if you have any knowledge of VIN numbers, thank you.
