Turn signal problems...
1980 Camaro, 229, V6.
Greetings!
1. Press "hazard flasher" and all bulbs properly flash.
2. Flashers off. Turn parking or all lights on, left front amber (parking) and left front side marker lights both don't work.
3. Lights off. Right turn signals work, left turn signals work "slowly".
4. Replaced turn signal flasher with new unit and cleaned ground connections. No change.
5. Turn lights on. Left turn signal DASH indicator light stays dimly lit all the time even if neither left or right turn signals are on or off which suggests bad bulb. Replaced with new left bulbs. (even though all bulbs flash in Step 1.)
6. Turn lights on again. Left front parking light and left front side marker lamp don't work.
7. Additional information. Last week RIGHT turn signals didn't automatically flash (but worked manually) and RIGHT headlight was very dim. Cleaned right and left grounds and everything worked fine!!!. Three days later, problems suddenly started on left side. (Both headlights are bright.)
8. Suggest possible troubleshooting tips or solutions? I'm stumped!
Thanks,
DD

It could be the light switch but bad grounds will cause a lot of strange things due to the way things can back feed and run thru other lights to find a ground ie dim lights and turn sig indacator light dimly lit.
BLK81Z28 (Jimmy). You were RIGHT ON! It was a bad ground (on the GOOD side...the side that worked fine.) Your "back feed" feedback was what got me to recheck the side I previously fixed. Thanks a million!
