Thats what I did...I have a 350T in my 81...I dont like rachet shifters....I had one in and was goin down the highway pushin 70+...and My now ex-girlfirend was moving around and threw that thign in reverse....

lol oh yah...she hated my car anyways...she hated lookin at it, riding in it...she called it an "Ugly American Bus"...she was from Chile...lol

sorry to jump like that but, i hate the way my transmitions shifts i'm used to manual tans, so let me see if i get it right, would this rachet shifter alow my to have that as close control of my tans as a manual? i mean push second gear when i feel is good?
