Default summit racing muffler leak

been busy since installing the kit and for awhile i've noticed my exhaust was alittle loud on one side of the car, today i found time to look for a leak and found black marks coming from one of the outlet's where the pipe meets the muffler. aside from being alittle louder, should i get this fixed or leave it alone?

also anyone if there is any warranty on the summit mufflers?

You have received a defective muffler and you need to call Summit and have them send you a new one or pay to have yours welded up.

Summit has always stood behind anything they sold. I've never had any questions when I had an issue. Call them up and they'll give you a number to return it, and send another. They usually have me leave the part in a box on the porch with a note to let UPS it's their's to go to Summit, then they contact UPS to pick it up.
