The rear isn't a sub frame. There part of the car. I think they only sell the front portion but I may be wrong. Try fbodywarehouse. All the cataloges are pretty close in price.

I've got a set. Competition Engineering makes them. You can get them through Jegs. They are not a factory replacement though. You will need to be able to fabricate.

Actually it is just the opposite, they only sell the rear portion of the rail new,i wish they sold the front part, that is what i have to replace on my passenger side rail.

Like mentioned above though, look for a parts car that has good rails,or check ebay, craigslist, etc.I bought a full passenger side rear rail off ebay for $100 plus shipping. The guy i got mine from almost always has them listed his store on ebay is camaro parts world, just go to ebay motors and do a search for rear frame rail for 75-81 camaro.

Steve have you got those comp engineering one in yet? I was gonna do that to my 78 until I bought the 80. Now I have a T/A that is worse than the 78 ever was.

I don't need them, my car had solid frame rails so I am not sure how they work out. The spring perches or anything else are not on them though, (although I am thinking they don't directly connect to them anyhow). I also have an 8 point cage and frame connectors that all supposed to work together. I'm considering hanging on to them for another car, or trade material maybe for a big block or something.

The one's you get from Jegs don't fit, needs alot of fab work. They are cheap, but your better off buying the replacement frame rails out of national parts depot or like company..
