Default Which stripes do you perfer?

Hello fellas, I'm in the process of putting some stripes on the Camaro within the next few months. I'm also having the guys install the 3 piece spoiler. Now I'm contemplating which stripe design to get on the spoiler.

The curve around stripes.

The cut off stripes.

I'm leaning towards the spaced curve around stripe in pic 1. Which one do you guys like better? If you have stripes please post pics.

I like both, but I went with the full stripes that go from window to edge of trunk lid on my '71.

I love your car. The color scheme and stripe combo is really clean, not to mention that 1 piece high spoiler which makes it unique.

I'm in for the first one. It has a more finished look to it. Sorry Val. I like your car, just prefer the other stripes more.

Thanks! That's my stock spoiler, with several inches of aluminum added to it for heighth. I glassed on the aluminum back in the 70's when I wanted a different look and a higher spoiler.

The stripes with the curved lower edge are easier for the painter to do. I just liked these, so the painter took the extra effort to paint the trunk stripes all the way down, then carefully lay out the spoiler to match, so when it was bolted on and lined up the stripes would also perfectly line up on both sides of the spoiler.

I never noticed your spoiler. Thats saying something for me. I guess I'm used to looking at tall ones so much I over looked yours. The blend is spot on.

That took about 6 layers of glass cloth to get it both strong, and blend it in to smoothly transition to the metal. Once it was glassed some of it got sanded back off to get it smooth, but it's held up a lot of years!

The first design with the curved bottom looks a little more tastier.... Nothing towards the straight through stripes because they look great but the curved looks like its mean but low profile at the same time.
