Have any1tryed the sport seats from summit racing?..

Is there room for 2 of these in my car. And wil i fit in the Seat?? ... I mean wil a normal man fit or are they Made for a 75 kg man.

I think Jason tried them and said they were too wide to fit next to the console in his 81.

Are these the seats that you are refering to? I'm 6' 190 lbs. Right at my shifter I have about 6 1/2" between the seats. I had to mfg my own brkts and I could move them each out approx 1". I have no console.
Notice that the drivers seat is flattening out where I "fall into it".

But no fitment or comfort issues.

 

My understanding is it's only an issue with a console. If you don't have a console, then obviously there's much more room.
I do have one question though NOR; what's a "77mob"??

yeah i got the pro car sportsman seats but they wouldn't fit with my stock center console. I wish they would have because they did look nice

 

yeah, the seats i wont look somthing like that.... i have a center consol but not like the one mr nomad has, so i cant see why it wouldent fit...

rydeet when you did move the seats 1" to the side, did it look strange?

Nor, I did not move my seats. I could if I needed to. They are mounted now and will stay where they are. I don't think that they would look odd though. FYI these Camaro floors are a B**** to make brkts for. All up and down. I used parts of the stock brkts and made others I also welded new nuts to the floor.
