Default Speedometer compatability

Hello there Teri Eckert here, noob with an 80RS. I read on NastyZ28 that the 1980 went to an 85mph speedo from the 130mph of '79. It sounds like they can be switched. Anybody done this or know if it can be done? I would love to try this, if it can be done easily.

I know it can be done, without too much trouble... a friend of mine was wanting to do the same to his 81 T/A. I'll get in touch with him and try to see exactly what it requires.

Thanks for the help. I just won a speedo off the 'bay, so I'm looking forward to trying this swap!
