Default sluggish steering 1970

I just bought a 1970 RS and noticed the steering is sluggish and not very responsive.
I used to have the same car 20 years ago, but dont remember it being that way.
I have a 2000 Z28 and I cant even put these cars in the same ballpark as far as steering.
I ordered a new quick ratio steering gearbox online. will that do the trick?

it will help ... but you must know there is alot more to steering than just the gear box. shocks, springs, bushings, control arms, stabilizers, etc. , all help dictate how the car steers and handles. sick

Just make sure you install exactly as the instructions state. My brother did'nt and after 4 yrs. we're replacing them again. Energy Suspension only caries a 2 limited warrenty. PST is lifetime.
