I am working on a 73 R/S and over the tears someone hacked the heck out of the trans tunnel. Do they make a patch panel just for that area in an aoutomtic version. I can only find the 4 sp hump. Or should I just weld in the 4 speed hump and put a plate on the top to make it solid? I may want the shifter mounted further back.

This car is for the track, not a resto and will have an automatic shifter on the floor.

Or, should I just fab a panel to cover the hole?
