Default Sheet metal

This morning i purchased a door skin from classic industries and im not sure if it was a good decision. Has anyone used there door skins?... the reason i am hesitant to use it because it is made over seas ( Which i HATE), than after work i saw a goodmark skin on summit for a lesser price... should i cancel the classic indust. order and get the goodmark?? some guidance would be good.

Goodmark, and EVRYONE's door skins are made overseas. If you want one made here you'll have to buy a used door. Goodmark has had some issues with parts, (especially hoods) but not sure about their skins.

The summit guy is full of crap. They may have an office in Georga, even a warehouse, but the stamping plant is run by 5 yr old ******. Sorry if I offended anyone. Just hate NAFTA is all.

Goodmark give that impression, and I'm surprised Summit relays false info like that. This has been pretty well investigated and Goodmark does not make their parts here in the USA. It's all made in China by about 4 different vendors, and the only thing that makes one brand better than another is who sends their rep over to ensure the stampings are acceptable. So far it's National Parts Depot that keeps the closest eye on their suppliers.
I had OK luck with OER, but they weren't 100% on all the items I bought. The hood is great! Fenders were a booger to fit.

Well here is what happend... I ordered both the goodmark from summit and the OER from classic industries.... which ever i like best i will keep and return the other... a little upsetting that this sheet metal is all made over seas....(especially after seeing the new 2011 jeep commercial ) id defiantly be willing to pay more for good ol' USofA metal....
