Default sb motor mounts

im puttin a motor in my 69 and the mounts are different .(i guess old style and later style )if i get the subframe mounts from a 72/73 nova will they line up and fit correctly , figured this would be the easiest route instead of buyin the old style block mounts ....will this cause any problems

You need to elaborate more on your situation. There should be NO reason why you have to use parts or part #'s from a different car. The 69 has enough of its own interchangable parts.

Tell us more please.

this confuses me also becuase that has got ot be one of the easiest upgrades there is

I have to believe that these people are just learning and don't have anyone else to go to. that's why forums are a good place for beginners. I wish I had these when I was growing up because I learned most everything the hard way. I guess by that though you end up learning more because you see how to fix f-ups easier.

well thanks for all the help ,i guess first off the title of the post should have cleared up the fact that im not putting a big block in were a small block was , but mearly trying to figure out , that if i take motor mounts(subframe) from a 72/73 nova would cause and problems since they are different from the 350 mounts that came on the car ....i got the car with no motor ,and the 350 i have has the late model mounts like on a 73 nova ext... so i figured instead of buying new block mounts id just use subframe mounts off my 73 ...and sit it in .....that was it ....and yes this forum, for us beginners rules cause iv learned to much the hard way so far ,and im shure much more to come
thanks

nothing wrong with used motor mounts. if they is no rubber in them , they don't go bad. also the frame is the exact same as the Camaro
