Default replacing A/C

Somone cut the A/C out of my car. I dont understand why people cant just onbolt it. Anyway, I am thinking about putting it back. How hard is it going to be and any ideas as to the cost of getting all factory stuff as opposed to getting an a/c kit from summit.

The summit kit is $1300, I dont think it would be any where near that for factory stuff if I could find it at a junk yard. And the factory stuff would use R32. Much colder then the new stuff.

I would need the aluminum thing that sits next to the heater core, it is cut, the lines, the condenser, brackets and freon. Then I would need to figure out why my heating system isnt working but I think that is a vacuum issue. And lastly I would need diagrams to wire it back in.

Are there any other parts needed?

I hangs from the motor like an alternator or smog pump.

Holes are probably for your cruse control.

I have ac in a few of my cars. I might be able to help with the fire wall components. I will take pictures when I can. The rs is turning into a dirt track racer so all the a/c components have to go. I actually just tossed the whole ac from a 79 trans am, still have a compressor somewhere around here.
