Default Replacement panels, what years will fit?

In looking for replacement fenders, hood, and doors, what other year camaros would fit my 70. I believe the hood is from 70-81, im not sure if the doors and fenders are only 70-73 or can all 2nd gen parts be used.

Can any parts from the 70-81 firebird be used? If so what and frommwhat years, i dont think the hood can, because it has the raise in the middle, what about fenders and doors?

Yes, hoods will all fit from 1970-81 Camaros. Fenders will fit from 1970-74. Also doors from 70-74, but if you don't mind interior changes I believe all the doors from 70-81 will work.
Most of the Firebird parts will "fit", but wont be right as the doors don't have the body line, and fenders either. None of it would look right.

OK...so I ended up finding a 4in cowl hood. It's on a 75 that's been converted to a 70 "look". The guy's at work, he on the phone with his wife while we were there though. I was under the impression this 75 was being converted and restored, but turns out he has a 71 in his garage. Could barely see it, but there was no front end whatsoever. He says the 71's body and frame are in better condition so he was swapping alot of things over. The cowl hood, he said he didn't want, he had a built 355 and didn't need the clearance.

Tried getting a price from him for the rest of the car that he didn't want. It would just be a rolling chassis. I guess they were under the impression we had some 1k budget for our Camaro, and that's what his wife says he'd try to get for everything. I explained to her there wasn't a set budget, i've had this car over 9 years, I have a performer manifold already, just wanted a hood for the clearance, but if the opportunity came along for other parts, i'm always on the lookout.

As much as i'd like to take the whole thing, strip everything, and have the parts for when i need them, it's just not something we can drop that much into right now. I did inquire about the front fenders, and doors, mine have rust on them, were glassed and repainted 3 years ago, but is coming through. For 150 for all 4 of those panels, we're coming back today to pick those up. I'm getting the hinges too, anythings better than my creaky ones that you have to slightly lift to close the door! There's a sidemarker i need too, and this passenger door has a side mirror Those doors and fenders from this 75 look the same as my 70. I think they were different in 78-81, even on ebay, the years for doors are 70-77. I'm still learning 9 yrs later about my car!

We also decided last night too we're gonna ask ask him to hang onto the radiator support and the front springs if he isn't using them for his project. Before he junks the poor thing. i still kinda want the rear end, posi or not and the front windshield too.Mine is scratched from bad wipers from it's previous owners. Feel like a kid in a candy store with that parts car!! They just aren't around here in WNY.The salt kills everything! Even just the moisture from being a mile from Lake Ontario is eating away at my panels, i store it winters.
