Default Removing wiring harness

79 berlinetta. got the wiring harness in a clump on the driver side just not sure how to take it out as i see it goes through the firewall.

If anyone could tell me how to disconnect that would be great. thanks.

It plugs together on each side of the firewall. Not sure about whether your year has clips or screws holding the inside to the outside, but look under the hood and under the dash see if it has two screws or a squeeze type clip. Once removed they will separate and the two halves will come off.

Yea, my '71 has two screws diagonally, but didn't know if the later ones were still that way.
