Default removing e brake/ wheel well

79 berlinetta, taking out the electrical and i need to remove the plastic dash piece to the left of the ebrake. however i must remove the e brake first. i removed the obvious bolts/screws and i noticed the backs of two more at the back of the ebrake. I think i have to remove the wheel well to get to it but i cant seem to get it to come out, its loose but wont give. Dont i need to take off the side panel to get it to come out? Also ive seen whole front end body panel sections come out how would i accomplish this?

Pulling the whole frontend "clip" is very easy compared to pulling it apart in pieces! You need to pull about 6-8 bolts to get it apart, plus the wiring harness and of course the hoses, etc.
Pull the two bolts that go into the firewall from the fenders. Then inside the doors there are two more, plus the bottom of the radiator core support bolts, and two at the bottom of the front fendrs, between the wheelwells and the doors.
I think that's all? After that get about 4 guys to lift it off. And pull the hood off first, as this will make it all lighter and easier!
Don't pull the inner fender off! It's way too much work, and wont help you. There's two nuts right under your brake booster that hold the parking brake, then the ones that hold it to the dash. After that it will fall right out of the way.
