rear frame rails...
looking at my rusted rear frame rails.... is there somewhere i can just by replacement rails or would it just be best to patch them. i've got some sheet steel and a welder, done it on a chevy c10, but it was a small repair. this repair on the camaro will be huge. most of the whole section in front of the axle is destroyed. anybody with any ideas?

RE: rear frame rails...
Npdlink.com has rear frame rails for 67-81 (different rails for specific applications of course) on page 104 of their "Body Parts and Sheet Metal" section of their catalog. Prices range 124.95 - 164.95 for standard U.S. made and the "46” long. High performance type w/extra sway bar support plate. Also features safety sleeve offset for better installation into old rail. 14 gauge steel" are 154.00 or 166.95 depending on application.

Thinking about tubbing it? I think there's some in that same catalogue. Or you could go to Detroit Speed (based out of Charlotte, NC). They have a bunch of performance parts for second gen that are top notch.

No problem, good luck. Would like to see pics when you're done if possible.
I see J'ville in your profile. Which J'ville is it? Jacksonville, NC, Jacksonville, FL or another one?
