Default Quick question for a Guru or someone with a service manual...

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone here could tell me what the preload should be on the front wheel bearings on a 2nd gen? If anyone has a factory service manual and wouldn't mind looking it up for me I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
-Mike

Spin the hub forward while tightening to 12 ft-lb. Give wheel a few turns forward. Back nut off & repeat frst step. Back nut off & tighten by hand ( no wrench) until snug. If the slit in the nut does not align with the hole in the spindle, back off nut slightly until the hole aligns with the next slit. Insert cotter pin.
