question for american about Trans am
my friend found a person has a red trans am 1980 or 1981 has only 500 KM.
its considered zero though. but it has been parked on open air area.
is it still a valuable car? or nature has took its virginity?
hit me with Ideas guys.

the thing is its going to need to be gone through and completely restored. im sure if you got the motor running it would smoke like crazy and leak all sorts of fluids, along with the trans.
Not sure about it's value in your country, but here it would not have a lot of extra value until it had been freshened up with new seals, and fluids, and the engine freshened after this long sleep. With the cost of that, it may eat up any extra value it had.
I know of a 78 here that still has the window sticker. He shows it with a sign that says. "still has the new car smell" I want to say he has seen offers over $20g but I haven't seen him in the years since second gens have come into popularity.
The only Trans Am that might hit $200,000 is one of the first year 1969 TA's. And it would have to be a pretty original, low mileage car to get that. I don't know anything about any selling in the $200,000 range though.
The 10th Anniversary TA with just 6 miles on the odometer, and never had a title, as it was never sold. It went for $85,000 USD.
