what all stuff have you guys had to do to put a turbo 400 into a 69 camaro from a turbo 350.....i know they have a shifter linkage bracket that bolts to the pan but what about the other stuff like the trans mount and vacum tube etc....

 

you need a turbo 400 cross member as well.....hope that helps....

 

always good to buy a new poly tranny mount. the kickdown on a TH400 is electric. Lokar sells a real nice kit. you can mount it right to your tranny pan. besides that all you need to do is have your driveshaft length changed

 

i just put a 400 in my 78 .the driveshaft is going to be shorter.i'm going to have to do something different with the shifter linkage.the dust cover had two different bolt patterns ,so that still works.the crossmember from the 350 i used .moved it back and drilled the frame.got to get another dipstick and the passing gear switch.the torque converter and the modulator valve will work in the 400
