The '76 might be a better choice for me. If I purchase it shortly I can drive it for almost 2 months before the snow comes, then store for winter. During the winter I can really get a feel for the car as I've never owned a Camaro before and learn a few things so I will be more comfortable taking on something in worse condition like that '73 Z28 RS or some of the '70s and '71s I've seen kicking around.

Best I can figure is you guys up North dont have a lot of good cars to chose from. So far Mike, both cars I have seen you looking at have been a little ruff in one way or another for the amount of money you are talking about. This car down here in the South is a $3500 maybe $4000 car at best. You should look into making a trip South to get one from what I can tell.

I will likely make the trip to MI and get that orange '76. $3500 sounds like a reasonable amount to offer for the car. If not I will wait until spring and keep my eyes open for another car.

Well we just picked this rolling chasie up for $2200 but all it needs is a motor and trany. Body in in great shape and inside is not bad but not perfect. It wont take much to get this one up to par.
