Our 78 that we have been working on, still got a lot of work to do though.

Default My '79 4-speed Camaro

Just bought it and brought it home two weeks ago. It's a '79 nearly option delete Camaro. Had the original 305 and 4-speed trans still untouched. Also had a posi rear end. Have been thrashing on the car and already have put in my new wicked little sbc engine, new 11" clutch, new headers and flowmaster exhaust, electric fan, and the Goodmark cowl hood. Still have to install the MSD ignition and distributor but have it running for now with an HEI. Plan on starting on the body repairs next month, but al least I can drive it a little to break in the new engine.

This was when I brought it home:

This what it looks like so far, still have a long ways to go:

Default 75

Here is my 75 in its current state. Has a 350/350. Working on the interior. So far I have replaced the dash pad, instrument case, gauge bezel, covered the rear panels and the package tray. Going with white vinyl for the door panels and head liner and black carpet. Will recover the console and add cupholders from a donor car in black vinyl. Hoping it looks good.

I feel like a parent watching your child start to walk, reminding me when my child (my Camaro) was started for the first time after being in pieces for over a year.
Thank for sharing

Working on my 77 Type LT now. I also owned a brand new base sport Camaro in 77. You can just see the passenger headlight in the top picture. I can't believe I don't have a picture of it now!
