No, they don't allow anyone to fire their engines during the show once you've driven in. That could really get out of hand. Safety inspection before the show requires you have 1/4 tank of fuel or less, gas cap taped shut, and battery disconnected. In my case I just turned the battery sw. off and pulled the key.
Wish they would allow owners to sit by their rides, as whenever I stop by I get a lot of questions to answer. It's my first time here, and been a lot of fun doing it.
