The size of the wire makes no difference as long as the insulation can hold the voltage.

Pete is right, if you have stock ignition, or even an msd box or HEI you will be fine

I think the best wire are made by Taylor but you have to put them together. The first time I did the was the first time I saw wires apart and had no problem it's very easy. I agre with everyone else you don't need anything crazy but if you buy Taylor wire it might be the last set of wires you ever buy. One sat on my headers and did not melt.

MSD does not hold up to heat as well as Taylor and Accell, but they are a better wire other than that imo

MSD is a better wire than Taylor? I had MSD wires on my Mach 1 and loved them but I think Taylor is the best just from my experience. But in this scenario all the same. Excel is known for a low cost but good wire for the price. Almost every Camaro in Philly has a set of 8.8’s on it.

I bought a set of accell plugs and they suck cause the tops screw on and they wont stay tight I had a couple of plugs loose contact with the wire cause the top came loose and made my car miss and run like ****. plus I payed 50 bucks for the ****s.
