Slowly but surely I've been peckin away at my 79 Z. I've been mostly restoring the interior back to the origional vinyl, donated from my two other Camaro's, the seats and visors had been wrapped in some kind of velour fabric that turned blue, yuk! The package tray has a cool diamond vinyl tuck & roll, which I'm keeping, and the headliner is the same diamond pattern only in velour fabric, looks cool to me. I have yet to restore the dash, it's pretty bad, or the sheet metal. I just got the rims restored and got them on the car and added a first gen touch to the exterior, it's pretty obvious but I want to see who notices the change. I have an extensive/expensive list of repaires and upgradeds that will be made, I mainly want to get everyones opinion. I hope these pics load.

 

Looks great, I found my nomination fot thee july ride of the month......As for the 1st gen touch, I would have to say the Z28 emblems, Like the black window trim also.
